Biography:
The Stay Puft Marshmallow Man is a colossal paranormal entity from the Ghostbusters film franchise.

First appearing in the 1984 film Ghostbusters, Stay Puft is a manifestation of Gozer the Gozerian's chosen Destructor form. The Ghostbusters are given a choice of what form Gozer will take, and Ray Stantz inadvertently imagines the friendly mascot from his childhood: the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man.

This innocent thought triggers the arrival of a gigantic, angry version of the mascot, wreaking havoc on New York City. The Ghostbusters ultimately defeat Stay Puft by crossing their proton streams and forcing Gozer back to her dimension, causing the Marshmallow Man to explode in a shower of molten marshmallow.
